Student Stories

After visiting nonprofit organizations in our neighborhood that are working to transform our community, each Pack designed an activity so that they could also make a difference. One pack performed manual community service to tear down an old garage for a widow and her daughter. Then, they worked to level out the ground in preparation for the new garage to be built. Another group partnered with a local organization and collected and boxed up books. A third pack studied the effects that trauma can have in a person’s life and started discussing how Kingdom Prep can better equip those who have experienced difficult situations. The ownership and variety of opportunities us to make a small step in transforming our community for the better.
