As we prepare and teach young men how to live their life of purpose, we want to open their eyes to a whole new world of opportunities. Over the course of two weeks in the Spring of 2020, our young men had the ability to see a variety of jobs first hand. Some young men had the opportunity to visit Sherman Phoenix and talk with the shop owners about the blessings and difficulties of owning their own store. Others visited the bank, an auto shop, barber shops, a police station, and the firestation. A group of students who toured BSN Sports even received first hand experience in designing future Kingdom Prep clothing.
There is a lot of planning that goes into making an Exploration Thursday run smoothly, but the experiences that our young men come away with makes it all worth it.
